NYC Charter Revision Commission Public Input Sessions
The New York City Charter Revision Commission (CRC) wants to hear from New Yorkers! The CRC is empowered to review the City Charter to ensure that City government is as responsive and effective as possible, with a focus on the housing crisis. The CRC is holding a series of public hearings across the five boroughs. The next one is March 4 in the Bronx (441 E Fordham Rd). New York City youth between the ages of 14-24 are encouraged to apply. The program connects participants with career exploration opportunities & paid work experience during the summer.

Recognizing Adams Administration's Continued Strong Fiscal Management, Leading Rating Agencies Again Affirm New York City's Strong Financial Standing and Stability
Mayor Eric Adams highlighted that four internationally-recognized, independent credit rating agencies – Moody's Ratings, S&P Global Ratings, Fitch Ratings, and Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) – have, once again, affirmed the city's strong bond ratings and stable outlook. Based on the strength of the city's fiscal management, revenue performance, budget reserves, and post-pandemic recovery, all four agencies assigned double-A category ratings and stable outlooks to the city's upcoming sale of approximately $1.5 billion of General Obligation Bonds. The city's strong General Obligation Bond ratings and outlooks have been repeatedly either upgraded or affirmed by all four rating agencies over the course of the Adams administration.
Mayor Adams Announces Progress on $30 Million Community Health Center, Strengthening Health Care Access to Families in Underserved Far Rockaway
Mayor Eric Adams, NYC Health + Hospitals President and CEO Dr. Mitchell Katz, New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) President and CEO Andrew Kimball, and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards announced that construction is now underway on a new 22,000-square-foot Gotham Health community health center that will provide comprehensive health care services to residents of Far Rockaway, Queens. The state-of-the-art community health center will expand community members’ access to primary care, specialty care, women’s health, dental, vision, podiatry, radiology, and mental health services.
Mayor Adams and Chief Technology Officer Fraser Announce T-Mobile as Major Carrier for City of New York, Saving Taxpayers Millions of Dollars Each Year
Mayor Eric Adams, New York City Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Matthew Fraser, and T-Mobile announced a new agreement to serve as the major carrier to support city operations, saving city taxpayers millions of dollars over the five-year deal on city-issued mobile devices. The new deal also ensures that city employees have access to cutting-edge technology and reliable service to best serve New Yorkers, especially in regard to public safety. Additionally, city employees who are currently customers of T-Mobile will now be eligible for a reduced rate on their monthly personal wireless plans.
