Dear Fellow New Yorker,
On MLK Day, we honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of nonviolent activism in the Civil Rights Movement. Mayor Adams and CAU joined the Harlem community at the National Action Network for their annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations, and participated in other events throughout the city to mark the holiday.
This past week, Mayor Adams announced the release of the 2026 Fiscal Year Preliminary Budget
to continue making New York City the best place to raise a family-- with investments in affordability, education, housing, and quality of life programs and initiatives.
