Street Design Manual 2020 Now Available

The New York City Department of Transportation's Street Design Manual 2020 is now available for purchase.

The Street Design Manual has become the city's resource for street design standards, guidelines, and policies. It's a must have for those working on projects in New York City's public right-of-way.

The Third Edition, released in 2020, updates the guidance of the previous version, incorporating recent entries  on geometry, furniture, and landscape, as well as the latest best practices in everything from bike lanes to inclusive design, and a new chapter addressing programming in the public right-of-way.

To increase accessibility, the latest edition of the Street Design Manual is available online.

You can get a copy of this essential reference document today at NYC.gov/Citystore.
