Mayor Bloomberg Signs Legislation Establishing the Park Slope Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District

On June 3, Mayor Bloomberg signed legislation establishing the Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID in Brooklyn. The BID will provide supplemental maintenance, sanitation, security, marketing and promotional services for the corridor, as well as holiday lighting, beautification and landscaping. 

The Park Slope BID will serve approximately 900 businesses within the boundaries of 5th Avenue from Dean Street to 18th Street.
