Public Hearing Record: Proposed DSNY Rule on Removal and Disposal of Derelict Bicycles The Department of Sanitation on February 22 held a public hearing on proposed amendments to its rule governing the removal and disposal and of derelict bicycles. The purpose of the proposed rule is to add bicycle racks to the definition of public property so as to allow the Department of Sanitation to remove derelict bicycles from these racks. NYC Rules Updates, a weekly e-mail newsletter, provides information on all proposed and adopted City rules posted to the website. City Record Now Available Online The City Record, the official paper of New York City government, is now available online. Published continuously since 1873, The City Record contains official legal notices from New York City agencies, including announcements for upcoming public hearings and open meetings, the text of official rules proposed and adopted by City agencies, and news about opportunities to bid for government contracts, as well as notices on selected court decisions, public auctions, and other matters. Mayor and City Council Announce Regulatory Review Panel's Report The Regulatory Review Panel was created to review the structure and function of City regulations and their impact on small businesses.
