Edgewater Ferry Landing

Located at 989 River Road in Edgewater. Served by NJ Transit buses. Ferries operated by New York Waterway. Edgewater to Pier 79 (15 minute trip)

Port Imperial

Lincoln Harbor

Located at the foot of 19th Street in Weehawken. Close to Hudson-Bergen light rail and NJ Transit buses. Ferries operated by New York Waterway. Lincoln Harbor to Pier 79 (5 minute trip)

Hoboken North-14th Street

Located at 1401 Frank Sinatra Drive, at 14th Street. Served by NJ Transit buses. Ferries run by New York Waterway. Hoboken North to Pier 79 (8 minute trip) Hoboken North to World Financial Center (8 minute trip)

Hoboken Terminal

Newport Ferry Terminal

Paulus Hook

Located at the end of Sussex Street, just past Hudson Street in Jersey City. Connections to PATH trains, NJ Transit and private buses, and light rail at Exchange Place. Liberty Harbor-Marin Boulevard

Located at the foot of Marin Boulevard, south of Grand Street in Jersey City. Accessible from the Marin Boulevard Hudson-Bergen light rail station. Ferry operated by New York Waterway. Liberty Harbor to Pier 11-Wall Street (10-12 minute trip)

Liberty State Park

The Liberty Landing Marina is location at 76 Audrey Zapp Drive. Ferry operated by Liberty Landing Ferry. Liberty Landing Marina to World Financial Center via Warren Street (15 minute trip)

Port Liberté

Located at the foot of Chapel Avenue in the Port Liberté development at Caven Point in Jersey City. Port Liberté to Pier 11-Wall Street (15 minute trip)

Located at West 39th Street and 12th Avenue, adjacent to the Javits Convention Center. Fulton Ferry Landing

Located in Brooklyn Bridge Park, at the end of Old Fulton Street, past the intersection with Water and Furman Streets. East River Ferry to points in Queens, Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan

Schaefer Landing-South Williamsburg

Located at 440 Kent Avenue, at South 10th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. East River Ferry to points in Queens, Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan

North 6th Street-North Williamsburg

Located at North 6th Street and Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. East River Ferry to points in Queens, Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan

India Street-Greenpoint

Hunters Point South-Long Island City

Located on 2nd Street, just south of 54th Avenue in Hunters Point, Queens. East River Ferry to points in Queens, Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan

Brooklyn Army Terminal

Located at 58th Street, past the intersection with First Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Rockaway Ferry to Pier 11-Wall Street and East 34-35th Streets

Rockaway Landing

There is a temporary landing located at Beach 108th Street and Beach Channel Drive. Rockaway Ferry to Pier 11-Wall Street and East 34-35th Streets

East River Ferry

Operated by NY Waterway, ferry operates year-round on a route along the East River between East 34th-35th Street and Pier 11-Wall Street, making stops at landings in Brooklyn and Queens. Makes stops at Governors Island on summer weekends.

Rockaway Ferry

Operated by Seastreak, ferry operates on weekdays from Rockaway Landing with stops at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, Pier 11-Wall Street and East 34th-35th Street. This is a temporary service, scheduled to end on January 31, 2014.

Baseball Ferries

Seastreak operates package cruises to some Yankees and Mets games.

Yankee Stadium

Yankee Stadium's dock is located off of Gateway Center Boulevard, close to the Yankees-East 153rd Street Metro-North Station.

Citi Field

Ferries dock at World's Fair Marina, 125-00 Northern Boulevard.

  • Circle Line Downtown operates many sightseeing harbor cruises and specialty events.
  • Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises operates seasonal tours around Manhattan and up the Hudson River, with departures from West 42nd Street, South Street Seaport, and Harborside Financial Center, Jersey City.
  • The Trust for Governors Island runs free ferries from Manhattan and Brooklyn to the Island during the summer. The Manhattan ferry departs from the Battery Maritime Building in Lower Manhattan. Brooklyn service runs from Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
  • Liberty Landing Ferry operates between Liberty State Park and Warren Street in Jersey City to the World Financial Center.
  • New York Waterway runs a number of routes between New Jersey and Manhattan.
  • NY Water Taxi operates charter, baseball, seasonal and hop-on-hop-off services.
  • Seaport Liberty Cruises gives sightseeing tours and one hour cruises.
  • Seastreak operates service between the Rockaways and Manhattan, between Monmouth County and New York City, as well as baseball ferries and other seasonal service.
  • Statue Cruises operates ferry service to the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island Immigration Museum.
