From September 4 through 6 (11 am - 8 pm), the Richmond County Fair
returns to Staten Island with carnival games, amusement rides, live
music, pig races, and more. All proceeds support the educational
programs and ongoing restoration efforts of Historic Richmond Town.

Festival has since grown to attract as many as 3.5 million people.
Held in Brooklyn (September 2 - 6), the festival's spectacular costumes,
live music and dance, and Caribbean fare are an end-of-summer must.

The 2nd Annual World Trade Center Run to Remember will celebrate
the lives of those lost on September 11. The race, held on September
5, will circle the perimeter of the beautiful Governors Island with
views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and New Jersey.
