77th Annual Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting Dec. 2nd
Come celebrate the holiday season at the 77th annual lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Wednesday, December 2nd, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Rockefeller Plaza. Arrive early and enjoy the show! The two-hour long program will feature various celebrity appearances and a star-studded musical lineup. The tree is illuminated from 5:30 am - 11:30 pm daily; all day (24 hours) on Christmas; and from 5:30 am – 9:00 pm on New Year’s Eve. The world's most famous tree will be on display until January 7, 2010.

In celebration of Louis Braille's 200th birthday, National Braille Press has produced a 20-panel traveling display, in print and braille, that takes a viewer through the highlights of Louis's life, the braille production process and why braille remains important today. The exhibit is on display Nov. 23-Dec. 23 at Baruch College.
