year the City procures more than $15 billion in goods and services from thousands of vendors.

| Vendor Enrollment Application |
| Once an organization completes and submits an application, the organization is added to the City's centralized bidders / proposers
lists for the products and services they are interested in selling to the City. City Agencies use these lists to notify vendors
about upcoming procurement opportunities.

| The Mayor's Office of Contract Services (MOCS) assists Mayoral City Agencies in complying with procurement procedures and
achieving their programmatic missions, while striving to improve their contract management practices and provide technical
assistance, particularly in the area of business integrity assessment. In addition, the Office provides oversight and implementation
of other important procurement related initiatives.

| Procurement Policy Board (PPB) |
| The Procurement Policy Board (PPB) governs the procurement of goods, services, and construction by the City of New York under
Chapter 13 of the City Charter. The PPB Web site provides information about the Rules of the Procurement Policy Board and
a calendar with upcoming Board meetings and Rules hearings.

| Vendor Responsibility |
| The City must award contracts only to responsible contractors. A responsible contractor has the technical capability and financial
capacity to fully perform the requirements of the contract, as well as the business integrity to justify the award of public
tax dollars.
