Over $220 Million for Bronx Parks
 
Mayor Bloomberg and Governor Pataki announce more than $220 million worth of improvements for Bronx Parks will be made over the next five years - more than triple what would be spent on Bronx's parks over the next five years.  The day before, the City Council approved a MOU with the State that allows the City to move forward with the construction of a water filtration plant for the Croton Water Supply System under the Mosholu Golf Course in Van Cortlandt Park.
