The NYC Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the Citizen Corps Council will host events throughout the city in September to teach New Yorkers about preparing for all types of emergencies. The celebration kicked off on September 2 in all five boroughs.

NYC Primary Election


NYC Primary Election
NYC's primary election occurs Tuesday, September 14. In a primary election, only voters registered with one of the parties qualified to hold a primary in NYC may vote to nominate their party's candidate to run in the general election. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Monday, September 13.
