The NYC Compost Project, funded and managed through the Department of Sanitation’s Bureau of Waste Prevention, Reuse and Recycling, offers a variety of workshops on indoor and outdoor composting.

Learn all about redworms and vermicomposting (composting with worms). Participants can purchase a plastic worm bin and a pound of redworms for only $44 on site (cash or check). $5 workshop fee; registration is required (please indicate if you'd like to purchase worms on site).
