Testifies Before House Judiciary Subcommittee

Mayor Bloomberg testifies before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security and urges Congress to reject a bill that would protect irresponsible gun dealers and encourage illegal gun sales. The misguided "Firearms Corrections and Improvements Act" would coddle criminals by preventing law enforcement agencies from sharing trace data needed to hold illegal gun dealers fully accountable. The bill would also treat police officers who share trace data as criminals.
