Mayor Bloomberg announces the administration’s progress in a $40 million initiative to modernize and renovate its social service facilities across the City.  The overhaul will improve the quality and effectiveness of services, which include job placement, food stamps, Medicaid insurance, and in some instances medical services for residents living with HIV/AIDS.
