Fort Hamilton Groundbreaking on New Family Housing for Military Personnel
 
Mayor Bloomberg, Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army Geoffrey M. Prosch, Major General Galen B. Jackman, Commanding General, Military District of Washington and Colonel Kewyn L. Williams, Commander of the U.S. Army Garrison at Fort Hamilton attend a groundbreaking for the construction of new family housing for military personnel and their families.  The new family housing plan involves the construction of 185 new homes and renovation of 43 existing homes including 6 historic townhouses.  Construction of the first homes is expected to be completed by summer 2005.
