Bi-Partisan Coalition of Mayors Against Illegal Guns Launch Ad Campaign

The bi-partisan coalition of Mayors Against Illegal Guns unveil the newest part of the coalition’s ProtectPolice.org media campaign, a television advertisement that seeks the repeal of the “Tiahrt Amendment.” The advertisement will run on television in Washington, DC and in targeted congressional districts. The mayors oppose the Tiahrt Amendment because of how it restricts the access of cities and law enforcement to gun trace data, an essential crime fighting tool.
