The times listed for closures for street fairs are for the actual times of the street fairs themselves. The streets may be closed for longer to allow for set-up and breakdown. Street fair organizers are generally permitted to begin set-up at 8 am and breakdown must be completed by 7 pm.

Manhattan

West 4th Street between Mercer Street and Broadway

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 8 am to 7 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 11th Street between 7th Avenue and 6th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 17th Street between Broadway and Park avenue South

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 19th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday 7 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 20th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

East 22nd Street between Broadway and Park Avenue South

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 26th Street between 11th Avenue 10th Avenue

This street will be closed Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 33rd Street between 7th Avenue and 6th Avenue

This street will be closed 10 pm Friday to 7 am Saturday and 10 pm Saturday to 7 am Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 35th Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue

This street will be closed Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 41st Street between 8th Avenue and 7th Avenue

This street will be closed 10 pm Friday to 10 am Saturday and/or 10 pm Saturday to 10 am Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 46th Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed 4 am to 11:59 am Saturday and/or Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 49th Street between 8th Avenue and Broadway

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 4 am to 10 am to facilitate crane operation.

East 57th Street between 3rd Avenue and 1st Avenue

One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained approaching 2nd Avenue from 6 am to 9 pm Saturday and/or Sunday to facilitate crane operation. Also two lanes of traffic will be maintained along southbound 2nd Avenue from East 57th Street to East 56th Street during the hours noted above.

West 58th Street between 12th Avenue and 11th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Fulton Street between Broadway and Nassau Street

This street will be closed 7 am to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate roadway paving operation.

West Houston Street between 6th Avenue and Varick Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 7 am to 12:00 Noon to facilitate crane operation.

Renwick Street between Spring Street and Canal Street

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Prince Street between West Broadway and Wooster Street

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Festivals, Parades and Events

Stone Street Pedestrian Mall

The following streets will be closed daily from March 15th through November 30th from 10 am to 10 pm for the Stone Street Pedestrian Mall as permitted by the Mayor���s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Sons of Italy Freedom Block Party

The following street will be closed Saturday from 12:00 pm noon to 6 pm for the Sons of Italy Freedom Block Party as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

The following streets will be closed Saturday from 12:00 pm Noon to 3 pm for the Korea Times Parade as permitted by NYPD.

The following streets will be closed Sunday form 12:00 pm Noon to 6 pm for the Deepavali Festival as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Manhattan/Brooklyn

Brooklyn Bridge

Due to the Brooklyn Bridge Ramps Rehabilitation Project, several lane closures may affect motorists travelling between Manhattan and Brooklyn. Local streets may experience single lane closures as needed and Manhattan-bound lane closures continue overnight throughout the duration of the project. Any other closures, including Manhattan-bound closures that extend into daytime hours during selected weekends, will be highlighted below. Brooklyn-bound traffic will be maintained throughout the project as will the span's pedestrian and cycling path. During Manhattan-bound closures, motorists will be detoured to the nearby Manhattan Bridge or may choose other crossings.

Unless otherwise notified of specific occurrences, nighttime closures are as follows:

Overnight Detours for Manhattan-Bound Traffic
Monday - Thursday nights: 11 pm* to 6 am
Saturday 12:01 am* to 7 am

* To allow traffic to clear before the reversal begins, the eastbound BQE exit onto the bridge closes 30 minutes earlier and other Brooklyn ramps onto the bridge shut down 5-15 minutes earlier.

Brooklyn

Gowanus Expressway northbound/inbound from 15th Street to Court Street

Two of four lanes will be maintained for traffic from 11 pm Friday to 9 pm Sunday to facilitate NYSDOT roadway deck rehabilitation work.

Furman Street between Joralemon Street and Doughty Street

This street will be closed Sunday from 1 am to 9 am to facilitate crane operation.

Montague Street between Hicks Street and Henry Street

This street will be closed Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Albee Square between Willoughby Street and Fulton Street

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Brooklyn/Queens

Grand Street Bridge over Newtown Creek

This bridge will be closed Saturday October 4, 11 and 18th, 2014 from 7 am to 1 pm to facilitate NYCDOT bridge repairs.

Staten Island/New Jersey Crossings

Bayonne Bridge

One of two lanes in each direction is open to traffic for PANY/NJ long term navigational clearance project. No oversized or overnight vehicles are permitted. Overnight Bridge closures started January 8th and continue through the duration of the project. The closures are: Monday through Thursday from 9 pm to 5 am and Friday midnight to 8 am Saturday. No weekend closures on Saturday and Sunday and holiday weekends. During closures, motorists should use the Goethals Bridge as an alternate.
