The times listed for closures for street fairs are for the actual times of the street fairs themselves. The streets may be closed for longer to allow for set-up and breakdown. Street fair organizers are generally permitted to begin set-up at 8 am and breakdown must be completed by 7 pm.

Manhattan

East 17th Street between Broadway and Park Avenue South

This street will be closed 10 pm Sunday to 6 am Monday to facilitate crane operation.

West 35th Street between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue

This street will be closed nightly from 10 pm to 6 am to facilitate roadway utility work.

West 39th Street between Broadway and Avenue of the Americas

This street will be closed 6 am Saturday to 9 pm Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 96th Street between Central Park West and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm to facilitate crane operation.

St. John���s Lane between Laight Street and York Street

This street will be closed Friday from 7 pm to Monday 6 am to facilitate roadway utility work.

Stone Street Pedestrian Mall

The following streets will be closed daily from March 15th through November 30th from 10 am to 10 pm for the Stone Street Pedestrian Mall as permitted by the Mayor���s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

  • Stone Street between Hanover Square and Broad Street
  • Mill Lane between Stone Street and South William Street

Little Italy Pedestrian Mall

The following streets will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm for the Little Italy Pedestrian Mall as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

  • Mulberry Street between Canal Street and Broome Street
  • Hester Street between Mott Street and Baxter Street

First Police Precinct Explorers Block Party

This street will be closed Saturday from 12:00 pm Noon to 6 pm for the First Police Precinct Explorers Block Party as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

  • Liberty Street between Broadway and Trinity Place

Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit

The following streets will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 12:00 pm Noon to 6 pm for the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit as permitted by the Mayor���s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

  • University Place between 12th Street and Waverly Place
  • University Place between 12th Street and 13th Street
  • Washington Square East between Waverly Place and West 4th Street
  • Washington Place between Washington Square East and Mercer Street

Brazilian American Cultural Street Festival

The following streets will be closed Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm for the Brazilian American Cultural Street Festival as permitted by the Mayor���s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

  • 6th Avenue between west 42nd Street and West 56th Street
  • 46th Street between Madison Avenue and 7th Avenue

Brooklyn

Clarkson Avenue between Utica Avenue and East 51st Street

This street will be closed Saturday and/or Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

The following streets will be closed Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm for the West Indian American Day Carnival as permitted by the Mayor's Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO)
