Description:
A permit must be obtained from the Fire Department before an air compressor that generates pressure exceeding 100 PSI may be used.

1.  Construction Permits
2.  Applicant must have proof of liability insurance.
3.  Certificate of Fitness to Operate Air Compressors (G-35)
4.  The premises must pass a Fire Department safety inspection.

Steps to Apply Online:

    Steps to Apply Offline:
    1.  Submit a request for a permit in writing to FDNY at the address below. The request must include the job location and the duration of the job.
    2.  A safety inspection will be scheduled upon receipt of the request and supporting documentation which includes everything listed in the Prerequisites above.
