Beginning at 8:00 p.m., each night the week before the primary election,
the Video Voter Guide will air all participating candidates running for Mayor,
Public Advocate and Comptroller, as well as the participating candidates in the
races from across the five boroughs. Each evening's show will be
rebroadcast the following morning at 9:00 a.m. and throughout the day.
To ensure fairness across the
boroughs, KPMG, as the official auditor of the
Video Voter Guide, selected the
broadcast order through a random selection process
so that each borough has an opportunity to be featured first. Please note that statements from candidates running for Borough President and City Council will be aired by borough, in alphabetical order by last name for each office, and by council district number within each borough. Council districts that span two boroughs will appear in both borough shows in which they fall:
