The NYC Affordable Housing Resource Center provides a
wealth of information online related to affordable housing. You'll find
information and resources about current City-sponsored affordable housing
lotteries, public and emergency housing, repairs, tenants' rights, and Mayoral
housing announcements. It is a resource for tenants, prospective homebuyers,
homeowners, and residential building owners.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs also offers Home Loan Guarantee Services. On December 22, 2006, President Bush signed into law legislation which extends the VA home loan guarantee to include co-operative housing (co-ops).
