VAC INVITES VOTERS TO SHARE THEIR NOVEMBER 2nd ELECTION DAY EXPERIENCES

The New York City Voter Assistance Commission (VAC) will hold its annual Charter-mandated public hearing on Tuesday, December 7, 2004. The hearing will take place at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) in the Richard C. Harris Terrace room and will begin at 6:30 pm.

New Yorkers participated in record numbers at the polls on Election Day -- November 2, 2004. VAC is encouraging voters to share their experiences at the polls by testifying before the Commission on December 7, 2004.

To schedule a three-minute slot, members of the public are being asked to log onto www.nyc.gov/voter or call VAC’s offices at 212-788-8384.

VAC encourages and facilitates voter registration and voting by all eligible citizens residing in the five boroughs. VAC is a non-partisan City agency dedicated to encouraging voter registration and participation.
