The 2nd C40 Large Cities Climate Summit was held in New York City from May 14-17, 2007.  The event was hosted by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg on behalf of the C40 Large Cities Climate Leadership Group and the Clinton Climate Initiative.  The event was organized by the Partnership for New York City, with support from NYC Global Partners, The Climate Group, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and ICLEI USA.   This summit brought together an unprecedented number of mayors from major cities, along with their senior staff members and business leaders.  Through a comprehensive program of interactive sessions, delegates shared best practices and identified collaborative projects all aimed at tacking climate change.
