February 6-7th, 2003 During the Sister City Summit on “Rebuilding International Tourism,” Mayor Masondo and Mayor Bloomberg sign a declaration declaring February 6th, 2003 as New York City/Johannesburg Sister City Day in the cities of New York and Johannesburg. This declaration celebrated a nine-year Sister City relationship between the two cities. | |
