Discovering Local Business
The 2011-12 Global Partners Junior collaborative curriculum “World Marketplace” focuses on local business and the global economy. To kick of the year, students investigated businesses in their communities through field trips and interviews with local business owners. Their research culminated in the “Neighborhood Guide” Project, in which students used digital media to present the unique businesses in their neighborhoods. Projects included documentary films, websites, PowerPoint presentations, and print brochures.

NYC-International Teacher Contest
Global Partners Junior educators are eligible to win a trip to another global city! Teachers will be selected in Spring 2012 and evaluated on their leadership in the program throughout the year.
