Terry D. Jackson is currently the Managing Director, Division of International Business, Office of the Mayor, NYC Commission for the United Nations, Consular Crops and Protocol. She received her BA in English from the University of Oregon in Eugene. She began her career in 1995 in city government as Executive Administrator of Gracie Mansion during the Giuliani Administration. In 1998 she transferred to the NYC Parks Department, she was Director of Citywide Special Events. From 2002 until 2006 she was the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Special Projects and Community Events, this responsibility also included doing Advance work for the Mayor. Her department planned the 911 ceremonies as well as many multicultural events for the Mayor. Her current responsibilities include facilitating foreign countries who want to set up businesses in NYC. She works primarily with diplomatic consulates and foreign chambers of commerce.
She moved to New York City in 1994, and is from California.
