	All NYC Success Mentors participate in ongoing trainings where they learn about policies and practices already in place to address chronic absenteeism, explore the causes of truancy and absenteeism, discuss the steps they can take to make a positive difference in their students’ lives, and strategize about how they can effectively leverage citywide resources available to them.
