Open Summonses for TLC Licensees

Open Summonses for TLC Licensees

On this page, you will find a list of open summonses written against TLC-licensed drivers and owners.  Only open summonses that have not yet been heard in court are shown – that means that the hearings have not happened and a final decision has not been made in these cases.

The data in the files listed below was last updated on  Monday September 29, 2014 at 03:12 PM and does not reflect any changes in summonses since the prior business day.

This is not a list of people who are approved to drive. For that list, please go to Current Licensees.

We have prepared this list to help you understand which licensees may be in danger of receiving fines or penalty points if they are found guilty at their hearing.  We strongly encourage you to speak directly to any licensee affiliated with your fleet or base about their summonses if you have questions or concerns.

For a list of points given to For-Hire bases and vehicles, please click on the For-Hire Bases and Vehicles with Penalty Points.

Court cases that have already happened but the licensee has not yet paid their fines are not on this list.  Old unpaid summonses could result in the suspension of a license so you should check the list of Current Licensees daily to check a license status.

This list has been prepared for informational purposes only.  The appearance of a summons on this list does not indicate any actual outcome or final determination of guilt or innocence.  Any licensee on this list may have defenses to any charge and other rights that may affect the outcome of a hearing.

What the terms used on this page mean:

Hearing Scheduled
This means that the licensee has a summons written against them and a scheduled hearing date.  If they are found guilty, they may get penalty points or cause your base to get penalty points.

Inquest
This means that the licensee had a scheduled hearing already, but they did not go to it.  Since they did not go, they were found guilty.  They may be able to get a new hearing if they meet certain conditions.

Adjourned
This means that this licensee already had their scheduled hearing but there was a reason to have a new hearing at a different time. The request for a new hearing was granted.
