Applying Online - Instructions and Next Steps
After you have submitted your payment online, there are few steps that you need to follow in order to complete the application process.
Print and sign your online application; this will be considered Part A. You must bring it with you on the day of your appointment.
Obtain the Part B application and Checklist. The Part B application must also be completely filled out and you must bring it with you on the day you submit the pre-printed online application to the TLC. You must come in with all required documents listed on the checklist & instructions.
You will receive an email from the TLC with an appointment date and time for you to submit your completed application and all requirements. If you are unable to attend or need to reschedule your appointment, you will need to notify your base to request a new appointment.
If the vehicle owner does not want to appear at the TLC in person, they may choose someone to come to the TLC for them by filling out the Vehicle Power of Attorney Form.
PLEASE NOTE: Submitting an application online does not guarantee approval for a new license as there are additional requirements that must be met. Please review the application Checklist for further information.
