|  A service exchange is the exchange of service for time credits. For every hour a TimeBanksNYC member provides a service to another member, they gain one time credit. They can use that time credit to receive a service from someone else. Service exchanges can only take place within the TimeBanksNYC community and can be on-going or one-time only. |  |
