The McNamara Division champion Staten Island Yankees were swept by the Wild Card Jamestown Jammers in the best-of-three first round series of the New York-Penn League (NYPL) playoffs.

GAME 1: SI Yankees vs. Jamestown Jammers
The Baby Bombers dropped the first game of their New York-Penn League (NYPL) playoff series against the Jamestown Jammers by a score of 7-10. The Jammers secured an early lead with an eight-run second inning that included six hits with two tripples. Despite a valiant three-run rally in the eighth, the Yanks came up a few runs short and will need to win the next two games at home to advance to the NYPL Championships.

GAME 2: SI Yankees vs. Jamestown Jammers
The Jamestown Jammers completed a 2-game sweep of the Staten Island Yankees with a 4-1 win in Game 2 of the NYPL Playoffs. The Baby Bombers only score came at the bottom of the first when Ray Kruml scored off of Addison Maruszak's single. The SI Yanks were unable to overcome Jamestown's early lead, ending their hope of making a run at their fifth league championship trophy in the franchise's 10-year history.
