Gate Information
The Press Gate and Gate C normally open 2 1/2 hours prior to the scheduled game time. All other gates open 1 1/2 hours prior to scheduled game time. Each gate at Shea Stadium is wheelchair accessible for entrance and exit. The most convenient gate for use by people with disabilities is the Press Gate, located between Gates B and C.
Guest Services/Fan Information Booths
Guests who require game-day assistance can speak to a Customer Relations representative in the Ticket Office, located on street level between Gates C and D. Fans requiring assistance inside the stadium can visit one of the Fan Information booths, located behind home plate on each level of the stadium.
Ticket Information
For information or to place a ticket order for handicapped accessible seating, guests should contact the Customer Relations office at (718) 565-4367 or (718) 565-4358. Orders, with credit card payment, can be faxed to (718) 565-5330. Orders may also be placed in person at the Ticket Office, located between Gates C and D or by mail to:

Shea Accessiblity Guide Elevators
Guests with disabilities can access the Press Elevator, located between Gates B and C, to get to their seating level. This elevator services all levels of the stadium. Guests who need to access the elevator during or following a game should see a representative at one of the Fan Information booths located throughout the stadium for assistance.
Parking
There are a total of 85 handicapped accessible parking spaces available at Shea Stadium on a first-come, first-served basis to those guests with state issued parking plates or permits. There are 55 spaces located near the Press Gate and another 30 spaces in the lot near center field.
Seating
The New York Mets offer a variety of seating options for people with disabilities. Customers requiring handicapped accessible seating may purchase up to four tickets for a game (seating for themselves and up to three companions). In the seating areas that are wheelchair accessible, folding chairs are provided for companions.

Subway
The #7 IRT Flushing Line Subway: Services Shea Stadium at the Willets Point/Shea Stadium station and makes stops at Times Square, Fifth Avenue and Grand Central Station in Manhattan.

Via E, F, G, or R Trains: Connections to the #7 can be made at the 74th Street / Roosevelt Avenue (Jackson Heights) stop.

Via N Train: Change at Queensboro Plaza for the #7.

Train
Long Island Railroad (LIRR): Service to Shea Stadium on the Port Washington line on game days only. Connections from other LIRR lines can be made at Woodside. For fare and schedule information, call: (718) 217 - 5477 (New York City) or (516) 822 - 5477 (Long Island).
By Bus

By Ferry
Fans can go by ferry to Shea Stadium.
NY Waterway operates ferry service from East 90th Street, East 34th Street, South Street Seaport, and Port Imperial in Weehawken, New Jersey to Shea Stadium.

Seastreak operates ferry servive from Highlands in Monmouth County, New Jersey, to the stadium.
Shea Accessiblity Guide By Car

From the Bronx and Westchester: Take the Cross Bronx Expressway to Whitestone Bridge to Whitestone Expressway to Shea Stadium Exit. OR Take the Triboro Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway to the Northern Boulevard / Shea Stadium Exit.

From Brooklyn: Take the Eastbound B.Q.E. to the Eastbound Grand Central Parkway to the Northern Boulevard/Shea Stadium Exit. OR Take the Eastbound Belt Parkway to the Northbound Van Wyck Expressway. Take the Northern Boulevard West Exit to Shea Stadium.

From Long Island: Take the Westbound Southern State Parkway to the Northbound Cross Island Parkway to Whitestone Expressway to the Northern Boulevard / Shea Stadium Exit OR Take Westbound Northern State Parkway/Grand Central Parkway to Shea Stadium.

From Manhattan: Take the Triboro Bridge to Grand Central Parkway to Northern Boulevard/Shea Stadium Exit OR Queens Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway to either Van Wyck Expressway (N) or Grand Central Parkway (W) to Shea Stadium Exit.

From Connecticut: Take I95 to Whitestone Bridge to Whitestone Expressway to the Northern Boulevard /Shea Stadium Exit.

From Northern New Jersey: Take the George Washington Bridge to Triboro Bridge to Grand Central to Shea Stadium.

From Southern New Jersey: Take either the Goethels, Bayonne or Outerbridge Crossing to Verrazano Bridge to B.Q.E. (N) to the Grand Central Parkway to Shea Stadium.
