New York City, the "Sports Capital of the World," has experienced unprecedented growth in the development of athletic leagues, facilities, and programs created specifically for New Yorkers with disabilities.

Participating in sports promotes good health, teamwork, friendship, and fun. The New York City Sports Commission is proud to support the following organizations that provide adaptive sports programming for athletes with all types of disabilities.
