It was a family affair at the Garden as heavyweight boxer Sultan Ibragimov and his younger cousin, Timur Ibragimov, were featured in the night’s two main bouts on Thursday, March 3rd. WBO Asia Pacific Heavyweight champion Sultan Ibragimov, the silver medalist in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, improved his perfect record to 15-0 (13 KO) with a third-round, TKO victory over former IBF Cruiserweight Champion Al "Ice" Cole (34-14-3). WBC Fecarbox International Heavyweight champion Timur Ibragimov improved his record to 16-0-1 (10 KO) with a third-round knockout of Ronald "Rockin" Bellamy (14-2-4). In the night’s undercard fights, Brownsville native Shannon Briggs delighted the crowd with his second-round TKO win over Demetrius King (7-6) and former World Champion Kevin Kelly (55-6-2) defeated Felix St. Kitts (12-5-2) when the referee stopped the fight in the eighth round.
