Jordan Brand All-American Classic

The Jordan Brand All-American Classic, one of the nation’s most prestigious high school all-star basketball events, featured a national game showcasing the country’s top high school seniors as well as a regional game for the top prep players from the New York City metropolitan area. In the national game, Villanova recruit Corey Fischer (12 points, 10 assists) and Syracuse recruit Donte Green (20 points) earned Co-MVP honors as the Yellow team defeated the Royal team by a score of 127-119.

Jeff Robinson (Memphis) led the Yellow team with 17 points, while Eric Gordon (Indiana), Kyle Singler (Duke) and Austin Freeman (Georgetown) added 16 points each. Fischer wowed the crowd with his exhilarating passing skills and dribble penetration, setting up many high-flying dunks for his teammates on the Yellow team. Team Royal was led by Donte Greene, who contributed an impressive 20 point performance along with three rebounds and two assists.

In the regional game, the City Team edged out the Suburban team by a score of 114-112. Seton Hall recruit Mike Glover led the City Team with an impressive 19 point, 11 rebound performance. A portion of the proceeds from this game benefited New York City-based charity The Children's Aid Society.
