GHI Bronx Tennis Classic
What: GHI Bronx Tennis Classic
When: August 11-19, 2007
Where: Crotona Park, Bronx

Unseeded American Sam Warburg defeated Bruno Echagary (MEX) 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-3 to win the GHI Bronx Tennis Classic men’s title, while #2-seed Casey Dellacqua (AUS) won the women’s title after Ahsha Rolle (USA) retired in the second set of their finals match (7-5, 2-0).

The tournament, now in its 15th year, is held at Crotona Park and along with the US Open, is one of only two professional tournaments held in New York City. A portion of the event’s proceeds go to the New York Junior Tennis League, which helps develop the character of young people through tennis.
