FINA Swimming World Cup
FINA Swimming World Cup

Date: February 3-4, 2006
Place: Nassau County Aquatics Center - East Meadow, NY

The world’s top swimmers will travel to the Nassau County Aquatics Center for the second-to-last leg of the 2005-2006 FINA Swimming World Cup. The FINA Swimming World Cup meets are separated into three zones: Asia/Oceania/Africa, Europe and Americas.

At Nassau last year, the USA led the medal count with a total of 30 medals while South Africa finished in second place with nine medals.

Swimmers will compete in the following categories (men and women):
- Freestyle – 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m
- Breaststroke – 50m, 100m and 200m
- Individual Medley – 100m, 200m and 400m
- Butterfly – 50m, 100m and 200m
- Backstroke – 50m, 100m and 200m
