The 17th annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival was held at Meadows Lake in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens. The Philadelphia Dragon Boat Association won the prestigious Open and Mixed Divisions, while Xtreme NY and Ma-Yi Black took top honors in the two Advanced Mixed divisions. The charity race was won by DCH Racing, while the HSBC Red Dragons took home the corporate invitational title.
The world-class event featured two exciting days of Dragon Boat Racing, wonderful performances and an international food court. One of the largest multi-cultural festivals in New York, the event featured over 100 teams competing for cash and prizes.
