What: 5th Avenue Sports League Go Green Initiative All-Star Basketball Game

The inaugural 5th Avenue Sports League Go Green Initiative All-Star Basketball Game, held in Madison Square Garden, showcased some of the country’s top street-ball players in a charity basketball game that benefited the Diamond Empowerment Fund. The game featured 12 all-star players from the 5th Avenue Sports League facing off against a 12-member all-star team compiled by sneaker brand K1X. 5ASL came out on top, pulling out a narrow 85-80 victory.

The Diamond Empowerment Fund is a non-profit international organization with the mission to raise money to support education initiatives that develop and empower economically disadvantaged people in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource.
