The recommendations developed by the Community Rebuilding and Resiliency Team for the five impacted areas informed the plans to protect all vulnerable areas of New York City.  Sandy offers many lessons for the City as a whole, and we must prepare for the future risks of climate change that may affect the City in very different ways than Sandy did.
