COMMUNITY BOARD 1 STATEN ISLAND TO HOLD A PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION TO DISCUSS TRAFFIC ON VICTORY BOULEVARD
Community input is sought on ways to ease congestion on Victory Boulevard between Bradley and Slosson Avenues
Staten Island, New York - Community Board #1 in Staten Island will hold a Public Information Session on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 7PM to discuss traffic congestion on Victory Boulevard between Bradley and Slosson Avenues. The meeting will be held in St. Teresa's Hall - 1632 Victory Blvd in the Auditorium.
The meeting will be held jointly between the Transportation Committee, chaired by Anthony Marra and the Westerleigh/Silver Lake Committee, chaired by Kenneth Tirado.
Said Sean Sweeney, Chairman, Community Board #1, "This is an opportunity for the residents and business owners of Castleton Corners to offer their ideas and comments regarding traffic in their community to their city officials. It is our hope that this opportunity for open dialogue will result in a plan to alleviate traffic congestion along this corridor."
We will be inviting representatives from the offices of: Borough President James Molinaro, Councilman Michael McMahon, Councilman James Oddo and representatives of NYC DOT.
Speakers will get time to speak in the order that they register.
