JOSEPH McDERMOTT
Joseph McDermott is the Executive Director of The Consortium for Worker Education (CWE), a nonprofit organization with a mission to enrich and secure the lives of workers and their families through education, training, and job opportunities. Prior to joining CWE, Mr. McDermott served as an Education Director for various organizations, including Joint Council 16, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Peace Corps, Sierra Leone, and National Urban Coalition. He also served as the Dean of the School of New Resources at the College of New Rochelle. Mr. McDermott is a member of the New York Industrial Technology Assistance Council and the New York State Advantage.
