Laurice Arroyo is the Senior Counsel of National Grid, a global electricity and natural gas distributor. Ms. Arroyo supervises outside counsel in domestic litigation matters and internal investigations involving the company. Cases include breach of contract, antitrust, consumer fraud, class action, tort, insurance, environmental, intellectual property, and other commercial disputes. She is actively involved in the department’s efforts to create a diverse and inclusive work environment, including recruiting, mentoring, policy development, etc. 

In her previous experience she successfully tried cases to jury verdict; obtained indictments in grand jury proceedings; argued and won appeal to Second Circuit; handled suppression and other hearings; prosecuted drug, bank fraud, and organized criminal activities; and negotiated cooperation and plea agreements for the United States Attorney’s office.

Ms. Arroyo holds a BA from University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from University of Michigan Law School.
