Welcome to Workforce1! If you are already a member of Workforce1 and have a blue Membership Card, please click here to continue.  Otherwise, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with how we can help you find the job that is right for you by reviewing the following information.

After you have read through the Introduction to Services, you can follow these 3 easy steps to register to become a member of Workforce1:

  1. First, you will be prompted to create an account with NYC.gov.
  2. After you create an account with NYC.gov you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to complete the Workforce1 member registration process.
  3. Once you have completed this process, you will receive a second confirmation email; this email will be sent by Workforce1. Be sure to print out this email, and keep it in a safe place, as you will need the unique confirmation number included in this email when you visit a Workforce1 Career Center.
  4. When preparing for your visit to a center, be sure to dress professionally, carry a hard copy of your resume, and bring an official form of identification. In order to access some Workforce1 services, you may also need to bring additional documentation to verify your eligibility under the Workforce Investment Act. Review what to bring to make sure you have all of the documents you need to register for services on your visit.
  5. Please arrive about 30 minutes before a scheduled appointment, Recruitment Event or workshop to complete the registration process and get your Membership Card.
