Grants dependent on available funding

Benefit:

• Provides moving grants to eligible commercial printers and graphic arts companies that relocate within the City of New York
• Firms can receive the lesser of 50 percent of eligible moving costs or $200,000   

Who is Eligible:

• Printers and graphic arts companies currently located in New York City that relocate to another location within New York City
• Firms that move within the same borough are eligible 

When to Apply:

• Firms must file an application prior to signing a lease or contract of sale for the move-in site

Requirements:

• Firms must be engaged in commercial printing or a related manufacturing use in the printing or graphic arts industry 
• Firms may purchase or lease the move-in site
• Firms and their affiliates cannot own the move-out location unless it can be demonstrated that the new lease or building purchase is for expansion space
• Firms must file an application prior to signing a lease or contract of sale for the move-in site. In the event a lease or contract of sale was recently signed but the firm has not yet moved, the firm can apply for a waiver of this condition 
• Firms must continuously occupy the move-in site for a minimum term of 5 years immediately following relocation
• Benefits are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and are dependent upon available funding
