Hispanic business owners are invited to join ACCION New York and The New York City Department of Small Business Services in our New Year's resolution to bring health insurance options to Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and their employees throughout New York City! "¡Salud! para Su Negocio" (Health for Your Business!), a four week seminar in Spanish on health insurance options for small businesses, is set to launch on January 16th. The series is sponsored by Aetna.
Sixty percent of small business owners do not provide health insurance as an employee benefit, leaving 27 million individuals uninsured nationally. With out-of-pocket health care costs on the rise, insurance companies and employers alike must find ways to make this essential resource available to the self-employed. This seminar will help business owners learn more about affordable health insurance products that can help their businesses and employees become more profitable, productive and financially secure.
