The Neighborhood Leadership Program is a partnership between the New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and the Coro New York Leadership Center that provides individuals from neighborhoods across the City with the opportunity to develop their personal leadership skills, hone their commercial revitalization expertise, and learn new ways to lead change in their organizations and communities.
This six-month leadership training program provides participants with:
- Innovative management strategies that can be applied to their careers immediately
- A connection to key stakeholders and resources critical to implementing effective commercial revitalization efforts
- The resources and skills necessary to support small businesses and strengthen commercial districts
- A network of 2000+ engaged alumni making positive change in NYC
We are now accepting applications for the 2016 Neighborhood Leadership Program. We encourage organizations to consider nominating a staff member to participate. For more information on the program and how to apply, visit the detailed Neighborhood Leadership Program page.
