The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) is pleased to seek the nominations of individuals, small businesses and community organizations for the 2013 Neighborhood Achievement Awards.

New Yorkers and neighborhood organizations are encouraged to apply and/or nominate others for awards in nine categories:

• New! The Helping Hand Award
• The Entrepreneur Award
• The Norman Buchbinder Placemaking Award
• The Adaptive Reuse / Preservation Award
• The M/WBE of the Year Award
• The Small Business of the Year Award
• The Cultural Award
• The BID Leadership Award
• The Workforce Service Award

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Deputy Mayor Robert K. Steel, and SBS Commissioner Robert W. Walsh will present the awards at Gracie Mansion this summer.

Applications are due Friday, April 19th, 2013, by 5:00pm.
