Database Administration

Database Administrators are responsible for designing, enhancing and maintaining databases. The types of databases vary, and may be legacy based (e.g DB2, Adabas), based on newer products (e.g. Oracle 8i or above, IBM UDB), and mounted on a variety of platforms (e.g. Windows, Unix, OS390).
