I am very excited to be the new Chair of Community Board 9.  Having served as First Vice Chair from 2004 through 2007, I strongly believe in continuing the agenda as set forth by Ivan Mrakovcic.  This includes an open dialogue with community leaders, council members and state legislators in addressing the important issues that face our diverse community including congestion, out of context construction and a dysfunctional Department of Buildings. 

I am honored to represent the extraordinary communities of Kew Gardens, Richmond Hill, Woodhaven and Ozone Park with all of their diversity, rich cultural heritage and tradition of community involvement.
