Our Local Agencies

Community Board 11 has extensive contact with our the local City agencies such as the Department of Sanitation, the 111th Police Precinct, Fire Department, Department of Buildings and the Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Parks and Recreation and the Department of Transportation, just to name a few. In fact, every month the District Manager meets with representatives of these agencies and others including representatives from the offices of the elected officials in order to share information and resolve complaints and problems in the community.

Our civic associations are important liaisons to the neighborhoods they represent and provide the Community Board 11 with important information about their respective areas.

We often receive calls from residents looking for contacts for schools, houses of worship and elected officials. We are pleased to provide you with most of this information on our website. Remember, for all other inquiries to city agencies or complaints you must call 3-1-1. However, you are welcome to contact the Community Board office at anytime for help.
